08 General Sport Tourism Products In Bac Ha
Located in the northeast of Lao Cai province, not as famous as Sa Pa, that is Bac Ha. This place is full of cultural potentials, landscape values and preferential nature. That is very suitable to organize a general sports tourism product that attracts tourists.
French experts came to Bac Ha to survey and work with Lao Cai Tourism Promotion and Information Center.
After many discussions, French experts have realized the potential and significant opportunities for tourism development, especially the sport tourism of Bac Ha area.
Through the actual survey and direct work, we have agreed to select 08 unique, attractive and feasible tourism products to put into trial operation.
The duration of the experience program ranges from 1/2 day to 3 days. With the means of transportation are jogging, walking, bicycle, boat and car.
During the journey, the landscape values, culture and unique activities visitors can experience such as:
- Explore the village, learn the culture, customs and habits of the local people;
- Experience fishing and spend the night at the foot of the waterfall, challenge kayaking on Chay river;
- Learn about the historical site of Trung Do temple, Hoang A Tuong palace;
- Learn and participate in the production process of some traditional crafts such as cooking corn wine, making pho cakes, watching flower valleys, experiencing folk games and traditional arts;
- Learn about weekend market culture, experience cultural activities of indigenous people through staying at home…

The unique general sports tourism products exploited in the near future promise to create a separate sports tourism brand for Bac Ha district in particular and Lao Cai province in general.
