Beneath the thin veil of Sa Pa’s mist, where mountains rise like ancient guardians and the moon spills silver light upon terraced fields, a story unfolds — a story of faith, rhythm, and memory.
“Sacredness” and “Dance Under the Moon” are not mere performances; they are whispers from the soul of the Northwest, carrying the heartbeat of generations who have sung, danced, and prayed beneath the same boundless sky.

“Sacredness” takes the audience on a spiritual journey inspired by the Red Dao people’s sacred traditions. Through graceful dance, ritual sounds, and stunning light effects, the show transforms ancient beliefs into vivid, emotional art. Each moment is filled with both mystery and beauty, blending dreams and reality into a world where humans express gratitude to the earth, water, and fire. It is a poetic reflection of the sacred bond between humanity and nature, where every movement becomes a prayer, and every rhythm becomes the heartbeat of Sa Pa.

When the moon rises high, the celebration continues with “Dance Under the Moon,” a vibrant expression of life and unity among Sa Pa’s ethnic communities — the Mong, Dao, Tay, Giay, and Xa Pho. Each group brings its own rhythm and soul: the Red Dao’s mystical “Van Phu” dance, the Mong’s powerful “Khen” performance, the Tay’s soft “Then” melodies, the Giay’s colorful fan dance, and the Xa Pho’s joyful songs of harvest. Together, they form a radiant “dance of unity,” celebrating the beauty of coexistence and the strength of shared culture.

“Sacredness” is more than a performance, it is a bridge between past and present, between the sacred and the everyday. Created and directed by Đặng Xuân Trường, Hà Văn Thắng,… the show is performed by local artists and ethnic artisans of Sa Pa, bringing to life the living heritage of the highlands. Every movement, sound, and beam of light carries the essence of this land, a place known as “Where Heaven meets Earth.”

Let yourself be carried away by the rhythms of the drums, the glow of the moon, and the whispers of the mountains. Under the Sa Pa night sky, “Sacredness” is not just something to watch, it is something to feel, a sacred experience that stays in your heart long after the lights fade.
