HOT NEWS: Visa exemption for Polish, Czech and Swiss citizens traveling on tours until the end of 2025

(TITC) – Viet Nam will waive visas for tourists from Poland, the Czech Republic and Switzerland from 1st March 2025, according to the Government’s Resolution No. 11/NQ-CP released on 15th January 2025. The move is taken in order to stimulate inbound tourism this year.

Accordingly, citizens of Poland, Czech Republic, and Switzerland travelling to Viet Nam on tours organized by Vietnamese tour operators will be exempted from entry visa with a temporary stay up to 45 days from the date of entry for tourism purposes, regardless of passport type, on the basis of meeting entry conditions as prescribed by Vietnamese law.

The visa exemption shall be applied for citizens of the above countries from 1st March 2025 to 31st December 2025 under the framework of the Tourism Development Stimulus Program in 2025.

Viet Nam has also unilaterally exempted visas for citizens from 13 other countries, namely Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the UK, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Belarus, with a duration of stay of up to 45 days from the date of entry.
