Open Letter
Dear: Agencies, units, businesses, organizations, individuals, and philanthropists inside and outside of Lao Cai province.
Due to the impact of storm No. 3 (Yagi), in recent times, Lao Cai province has experienced prolonged heavy rains, causing landslides and flash floods across the province. The incident has severely affected people and property in Lao Cai province.
Currently, thousands of houses, thousands of hectares of crops have been destroyed, roads, schools, medical stations, irrigation works… have been destroyed. Thousands of people are isolated or living in extremely poor conditions of food, clean water, and housing.
Responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province to support people in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters caused by storm No. 3 (Yagi). Lao Cai Department of Tourism appeal on agencies, units, businesses, organizations, individuals, and philanthropists inside and outside Lao Cai province to support and provide cash, goods, and necessities to help Lao Cai people overcome the consequences of the disaster and soon stabilize their lives.
The time to receive support is from September 11, 2024 to October 30, 2024.
