Fansipan cable car is a cable car line in Sapa town, Lao Cai province, Vietnam, connecting from the town center to Fansipan peak. This is a modern three-wire cable car line with a length of 6,292.5 m, including 6 main pillars, each pillar is 1 km apart.
The system includes 33 cabins, each cabin can accommodate 35 guests, with a transport capacity of up to 2,000 passengers/hour.
Travel time to the “roof of Indochina” is only about 15 minutes instead of 2 days trekking in general
The cable car route was started on 2nd, November, 2013, located in the Sun World Fansipan Legend tourism complex invested by Sun Group.
