The Mong Show
Re-enact Hmong culture. The program will take place at Lao Cai Tourist Information and Promotion and Center,
02 Fansipan Sapa town on December 20-21/2022.
The Mong Show is the main content of the unique cultural tourism product “Sa Pa quietly loves” which will continue to be organized by the Department of Tourism of Lao Cai province at Lao Cai Tourist Information and Promotion Center (02 fansipan, Sa Pa town) from December 20 to 21, 2022.
This is a unique product, exploiting the spiritual and cultural life of the Mong people in Lao Cai, with a duration of 35 minutes nonstop, no MC, no stage sound.
All segments, images, and content are artistically choreographed, connected throughout by the life story of the Mong, by performances through music, animation, dance, lyrics, and the sound of a trumpet, flute, forging… and singing, dancing of hundreds of Mong folk artists…
This is the first real scene about the daily life of the Mong people, staged in the context of Sa Pa quietly falling in love and under the eyes of tourism art.
Audiences are tourists who will experience, listen, and immerse themselves in the human life, activities, culture and beliefs of the Mong people, depicted through each stage of the stage, which is uniquely arranged based on the unique layout of the stage.
On the actual topography of Lao Cai tourist landscape (ancient stone, Hoang A Tuong palace, Liem Phu waterfall, terraced fields, Sa Pa Museum…).
The play consists of 8 main acts: Sorcerer, Blacksmithing, Weaving, Fair, Bird’s Nest on the Mountainside, Love Market, and Hmong Cultural Museum.
The product does not use sound amplifiers, limited lighting, only focuses on highlighting the main highlights, creating a new experience for viewers.
Visitors are guided throughout the program to follow activities and customs familiar to the Mong people, to follow the contemporary dance art that is fully exploited based on the folklore materials of the Mong people.
Follow the music art that is distilled and molded to create a colorful harmony between heaven and earth of Sa Pa.
