Due to the impact of storm No. 3 (Yagi), in recent times, Lao Cai province has experienced prolonged heavy rains, causing landslides and flash floods across the province. The incident has severely affected people and property in Lao Cai province.
Currently, thousands of houses, thousands of hectares of crops have been destroyed, roads, schools, medical stations, irrigation works… have been destroyed. Thousands of people are isolated or living in extremely poor conditions of food, clean water, and housing.
