Tour program:
Day 1: Sapa – Tram Ton – 2,800m Campsite (L/D)
Our guide, driver and porters will pick you up from your hotel, then you will move to our office where you can leave luggage, receive water, a small raincoat, protective gloves and prepare for the trek.
After the briefing, at 08:00 your Fansipan trek and expedition begin with a short transfer from Sapa town to Tram Ton pass where you set the first steps in the journey to conquer Fansipan and enjoy the scenery of Hoang Lien mountain range. Your lunch will be served nearby a stream at a national park rangers’ camp around 2,200m altitude.
After lunch, the trail mostly through the forest takes you up and down some peaks to the 1st camp base at 2,800m. 06.30 PM: Have dinner, it’s time to chat and share stories with other members of the team. At the end of the evening, you can enjoy the night sky with thousands of stars in the quiet forest, soak up nature where there is no smoke and noise.
Summary: approx 6-hour trekking
Overnight in a shared tent.
Day 2: Sunrise on The Peak Of Fansipan – 3,143m – Back To Sapa (B/L)
The day starts at 04.00 AM with earrly breakfast, then at 04:30 it is time for conquering the summit of the Fansipan at the altitude of 3,143m, enjoy an impressive morning on the roof of Indochina.
The peak is on the Hoang Lien Son mountain range which has the status of a nature reserve. This protects the great diversity of animal and plant life including over 172 varieties of orchids that flourish in this unique ecosystem.
You can watch the vegetation change as you trek higher culminating in a forest of dwarf bamboo near the top. If all goes to plan you should reach the top after 2 hours of trekking and can celebrate your victory with a view over to Laos and China. Celebrate your victory with champagne.
The final section today is rather short and almost downhill – through bamboo and cane forests to the altitude of 2,800m where you will have lunch.
The afternoon trek is shorter but it’s no less interesting. Finally, you will arrive at the gate of Hoang Lien Mountain Park where the forest rangers will give you a medal and certificate as honouring and the vehicle is waiting for you to take you back to Sapa.
End of trip.

For safety, please note that the climb up Fansipan is long and strenuous and should only be undertaken by those who are fit and in good health. All camping and cooking equipment can be provided, or travellers can bring their own if they prefer. Porters are available to carry equipment.
