Trekking Combine With 1 Day Cultural Market Tour
This program is usually organizing every Saturday and Sunday to visit Bac Ha market, but you can also depart on Monday and Tuesday to visit Coc Ly market, or Tuesday and Wednesday to visit Sin Cheng market.
At 09:00: Our guide and car will pick you up from your hotel then transfer 6 km to Lao Chải village. You will start walking 2 km down hill to Muong Hoa valley, enjoy the most beautiful terrace fields view in Sapa and the daily life of black Mong ethnic. Enjoy nice walking about 3 km more to Ta Van village of the Giay minority. Lunch at a local family in Ta Van, all of the activities are the opportinity to discover their daily life, works and special custom and enjoy landscapes of this area… After lunch, continue to trek through nice bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai village of the red Dao ethnic, visit a wonderful waterfall & old rattan bridge on the way to the main road to take the car back to Sapa. You will have free time untill your included dinner in Sapa restaurant. This night you will have free time to discover Sapa romantic town at night.
You will start to drive to the market at 7:30AM from Sapa, arrive to Bac Ha after 2,5 hours. Enjoy your free time for visitting one of the most colourfull market in the world. This is the big market in the Northwest of Vietnam, filled with many different hill-tribe peoples such as Flower Mong,Tay, Nung, Phu La ..peoples. At the market, you have chance to enjoy many simple but unique kinds of food with special wines made from corn and different sorts of fruits such as plumps, apples, peaches…. Having lunch at the local restaurant, then leave the market for visiting the Mong King’s palace (Hoang A Tuong palace) built by French and Chinese architecture from 1914 to 1921. Continue with a short walk to see BanPho village where is homeland of flower Mong. Say good bye to BacHa and get back to Lao Cai Station. On the way back, drop in to see the Vietnamese and Chinese border gate in LaoCai. Transfer to Station for overnight train back Hanoi (or return to Sapa). End of great trip.
