The Attractive Spiritual Destinations In Lao Cai In Spring

- Thuong Temple
Thuong Temple is located in Lao Cai ward, Lao Cai city. This is the famous temple that is more than 200 years old and was built close to the Vietnam – China bordergate. Thuong Temple worships the king Tran Quoc Tuan, who had made great contributions in protecting the country’s mountains and rivers, and is one of the most famous sacred temples. Every full moon day of the first lunar month, Thuong Temple Spring Festival is held and attract many domestic and foreign tourists to visit.
- Doi Co Temple
Doi Co temple is located in Binh Minh ward, Lao Cai city, attracts many domestic and foreign tourists to visit and worship. Every year, Doi Co temple has some main festivals such as: Thuong Nguyen festival on the 10th day of the first lunar month; The main holiday of Doi Co temple is held on the 13th day of the 9th lunar month.
- Bao Ha Temple
Bao Ha Temple is located in Bao Ha commune, Bao Yen district and was ranked the a national historical and cultural relic in 1997. The temple worships the god of national defense – Hoàng Bảy. Bao Ha temple is famous for its sacredness. The main holidays of the temple are: Thuong Nguyen festival on the full moon day of the first lunar month; Hoang Bay’s death anniversary festival is on the 17th day of the 7th lunar month.
- Phuc Khanh Temple
Phuc Khanh temple is located in Pho Rang town, Bao Yen district. Phuc Khanh is the sacred temple worshiping the Bau lords (Vu Van Uyen, Vu Van Mat and their descendants), ranked as the National Historical and Cultural Relic in 2002. Phuc Khanh Temple Festival is held on 10th of the firt lunar month every year.
- Mau Son Temple (Sapa)
Mau Son temple is located in Thach Son street, Sapa town and is the famous spiritual tourist destination in Sapa. The temple is more than 200 years old, recognized as the national historical and cultural relic. Tourists often come to Mau Son temple on the full moon day and the beginning day of the month to pray for peace.
