The Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion Center of Lao Cai Province successfully participated in the 20th International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City (ITE HCMC 2026), held from August 27 to 29, 2026
As one of the region’s premier tourism showcases, the event served as a strategic platform for Lao Cai to elevate its destination brand on both national and international stages.
During the four-day expo, the Lao Cai delegation drew significant attention from domestic and international enterprises, tour operators, and travelers. The provincial booth featured a rich array of promotional materials, vivid pictorial publications, and distinctive local souvenirs that highlighted the breathtaking landscapes and cultural heritage of the highlands. Visitors were introduced to Lao Cai’s signature tourism products, ranging from community-based tourism in mystical valleys to adventure travel and luxury resort experiences.
Representatives from the Center actively engaged in business-to-business (B2B) networking sessions, forging valuable partnerships with tourism agencies and travel companies from across Southeast Asia and beyond. These connections aim to open new collaborative pathways, boost tourist arrivals, and stimulate sustainable investment in Lao Cai’s burgeoning hospitality sector.
By taking part in ITE HCMC 2026, Lao Cai has once again reaffirmed its position as a dynamic, must-visit destination in Northwest Vietnam. The successful participation not only reinforces the province’s post-pandemic tourism recovery but also showcases its commitment to expanding global integration and welcoming more international friends to explore its majestic mountains and rich ethnic diversity.
