New Year Events & Activities in Bac Ha 2024
In the bustling atmosphere of spring, Bac Ha will organize the White Plateau Festival with the theme “Nghieng say mua Xuan” in March 2024.
With the desire to create a tourism product imbued with traditional national culture as well as create opportunities for tourists to experience, Festival in the spring of 2024 will have attractive activities, specifically can be as follows:
- Bac Ha Impressions Program
– Time: From March 8, 2024 – March 10, 2024.
– Location: Square area and Hoang A Tuong Palace.
– Content:
+ Opening and Photo Exhibition “Bac Ha past and present” at the courtyard area next to Hoang A Tuong Palace square.
+ Opening of “Ethnic costumes and photo exhibition” and space for displaying and interpreting the topic “Horses – from Vietnamese cultural symbols to intangible cultural heritage” at Hoang A Tuong Palace.
“Gau Tao” Festival of the Mong’s people in Bac Ha
- Program to Honor the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Bac Ha Horse Racing Festival 2024 and Fire Dancing Festival 2024 (Nhay lua Festival 2024)
– Time: 20:00 Friday, March 8, 2024.
– Location: Bac Ha District Central Stadium.
– Content: Art stage and Organization of the Fire Dancing Festival in 2024.
- Opening of the Bac Ha White Plateau Festival in 2024
– Time: From 8:00 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2024.
– Location: Hoang A Tuong Palace Square.
- Program “White Plateau plum color”
– Time: March 2, 2024
– Location: La Di village, Thang Ta Van Chu commune
– Content: Join a tour to visit villages, tourist attractions, sightseeing and experiences.
- Program “White Plateau Pear Color”
– Time: March 9, 2024
– Location: Communes and towns in Bac Ha district
– Content: Join a tour to visit villages, tourist attractions, sightseeing and experiences.
- “Ba me con” mountain climbing tournament
– Time: March 10, 2024
– Location: In front of the gate of Hoang A Tuong mansion.
– Content: Conquering the peak of “Ba me con” mountain according to the regulations of the Organizing Committee.

– Time: March 16, 2024
– Location: Bac Ha Temple, Bac Ha town.
– Content: Praying and participate in other activities within the framework of the Festival.
