Sapa Autumn Festival 2024 with many experiential activities
Sapa Autumn Festival 2024 will feature many attractive activities to introduce and promote the values of Sapa tourism resources and products, attract domestic and international tourists. The activities Sapa Autumn Festival will take place from mid-August to October 2024; focusing on the holidays of August Revolution (August 19th) and National Day (September 2nd).
Accordingly, the opening ceremony of Sapa Autumn Festival 2024 and the reception of Provincial Monument Certificate for Bac Waterfall and Fansipan Peak will be held at 20:00 on August 30th at Sapa square.

The main activities such as: Mong Village Cultural Festival at Cat Cat tourist site; The “Fairy Tale of Muong Hoa” circus performance will take place from August 31st to September 2nd at the International Food Village – Muong Hoa Park project, group 2, Cau May ward, Sapa town; Ban May Golden Season Festival from August 17th to September 1st at Fansipan cable car station; Full Moon Festival on September 14th (August 12th of the lunar calendar) at Sapa square;

At the same time, three sports tournaments will be organized: Vietnam Mountain Marathon 2024 from September 20th to September 22nd, with an expected participation of 4.000 athletes from more than 50 countries; Tennis tournament “Sapa Golden Season” from August 31st to September 1st at Sapa tennis court; Men’s Football Tournament – Lao Cai Tourism Association 2024 from September 24th to October 6th at Sinavi and Sungroup stadium.

Beside that, to implement Sapa – Mu Cang Chai Cooperation Program 2024, in the third quarter of 2024, two towns will coordinate to organize the first forum on tourism development cooperation and linkage with the theme “The road connecting the terraced fields heritage”; displaying and exhibiting the photos with the theme “Heritage Road”; promoting trade and e-commerce, organizing spaces to display, introduce and sell OCCOP, agricultural and handicrafts products at the festival programs of two localities.
