Despite cold weather conditions, with temperatures dropping below 10 degrees Celsius and light rain, thousands of tourists and locals gathered at Sa Pa’s central square near the stone church to participate in the countdown and enjoy the vibrant performances by popular artists. The lively atmosphere helped attendees momentarily forget the chilly temperatures as they celebrated the arrival of 2025.
