Pavi ancient stone road was built by French colonial in 1927, to connected Sang Ma Sao commune (Bat Xat – Lao Cai) and Sin Suoi Ho (Phong Tho – Lai Chau), with pebbles and big rock is arranged in a road from the hands of the ethnic people (Mong and Dao ethnic), located at the foot of Nhiu Co San mountain.
Pavi stone road
The starting point of the rocky road is from the Tra Pha school in Nhiu Co San village, a Mong village in Sang Ma Sao commune. Walking on the old stone path, there are many sections of polished stones, unknown by human footprints, horses, or by rain and wind, only traces of time.
Cool stream flowing
Going far away into the jungle, you will be immersed in the beautiful natural scenery on both sides of the trail with lush green cardamom, hundred-year-old canopy, cool stream flowing through the great rock. Sometimes, you will have to be very careful when walking on rocks covered with green moss.
Green moss covered stone road
